What we promise, and what you get back if it does not work out
You are not buying a picture, you are buying certainty: on time, honest and usable. Every photo is checked and approved by a person before delivery. If it still does not work out, below is what you get back.
On time, or that photo's credit comes back automatically. If a paid photo is late, its credit comes back automatically, valid for 12 months. Prefer your money? Ask within 30 days.
Delivered within 24 hours
Weekends included, from confirmed payment. If a paid photo is late, its credit comes back automatically, or your money if you ask within 30 days.
The 24 hours start as soon as your payment comes in, Saturdays and Sundays included. If a paid photo is delivered later, its credit comes back to your account automatically, valid for 12 months, and we email you about it. Prefer your money back? Reply within 30 days, before you use the credit. Free photos and delays caused by an unusable upload are excluded.
Structure unchanged
Walls, windows, doors, floors, ceilings and views stay exactly as they are. If not, we redo the photo free of charge.
We stage, we do not renovate. Walls, windows, doors, floors, ceilings and the view stay exactly as in your photo. If anything has changed after all, we redo the photo free of charge, also after the revision period.
One style per property
Furniture at true scale, in one style across all photos of the property.
All photos of one property get the same style, so the property feels like one whole. The furniture is true to scale, so a buyer sees what really fits. Ideally, upload one photo per room.
60 days of revisions
Free revisions for up to 60 days after delivery. Every revision within 12 hours.
Up to 60 days after delivery, you can request a revision per photo, with a short comment. Every revision is ready within 12 hours. However often you ask for a change, it never costs anything. A different style or a different room counts as a new order.
Not usable after a revision? Money back
If a photo is still not usable after a revision, you get your money or credits back for it. Ask within the 60-day revision period.
If you cannot use a photo, even after a revision, you get your money or credits back for that photo. Ask within the 60-day revision period. This applies to paid photos.
The label per market
Every staged photo carries a label in the bottom right corner, in the language of the market where the property is for sale. The label is not small print to hide: it shows buyers that you advertise honestly.
- Netherlands
- The label is one of the wordings the NVM names, placed in the image itself as Funda asks. You get the original as well. Note: for existing properties, a virtually staged photo may not be the main photo on Funda, so use an ordinary photo of the property as the main photo.
- Germany
- The label is in German and says that the room has been virtually staged. You get the original as well.
- France
- The label is in French and states that the furniture is not actually in the property. You get the original as well.
- Italy
- The label is in Italian and says that it is virtual home staging. You get the original as well.
- United Kingdom
- The label is in English, in line with Rightmove's rule that edited images are clearly labelled. Rightmove also asks for a current photo of the same room, so publish the original we deliver alongside it.
- United States
- The label is in English. With every original you also get a public link. In California the law requires a statement next to an altered image plus a link to the original, and many MLSs want the original directly before or after the staged photo. The links stay online for 24 months.
You remain responsible for your listing. We deliver every photo with the label and the original; you decide which photo goes where. We do not guarantee that a portal or MLS accepts a particular photo, so if you are unsure about its rules, check that portal's terms.
